Over 300 eager minds expressed interest, but only 100 were fortunate enough to secure a seat in what would become a transformative learning experience. From the very first day, participants immersed themselves fully in the learning process. Concepts that once seemed intimidating—like variable manipulation—became clear and approachable. Through hands-on exercises, theoretical statistical concepts were brought to life, transforming into practical tools used daily by researchers and decision-makers.
Leading this digital expedition was a team of five seasoned facilitators—statisticians, lecturers, researchers, and consultants—each bringing unique insights and practical wisdom. From Dr. Wisdom Takramah and Mr. Martin Adjuik’s academic finesse, to Mr. Dennis Mawuli and Mr. Patrick Addo’s practitioner insights, the training was a symphony of expertise. Though one facilitator, Mr. Joseph Otoo, couldn’t join, his presence was felt through the carefully curated materials.

The feedback was candid: make the sessions shorter but spread over more days; increase hands-on time; improve network reliability. And above all, offer more of such programs.
By the end of the week, transformation was undeniable. Participants were no longer timid around STATA. They could manage datasets, visualize data, and run complex statistical models with a newfound confidence. Certificates were awarded, but the real reward was intangible—clarity, capability, and connection.
The masterclass did more than train analysts—it cultivated a community. A group of learners-turned-practitioners, now better equipped to navigate academic, development, and research landscapes with precision and purpose.
As the virtual curtains closed, the echoes of the training remained. “Good work to the team,” a participant wrote. “Teaching skills were commendable. All levels of expertise could grasp the concepts. Good work indeed.”
